Pithecellobium tortum (Brazilian Rain Tree)

We end this workshop season with a highly prized tree in the world of bonsai: the Brazilian Rain Tree. Fast growing, dark green foliage, flowers, exfoliating bark, and a natural geometric growth pattern make Rain Trees a very desirable bonsai. They do best in a sunny location and kept evenly moist. Regular feeding keeps them healthy. They have thorns that in nature help protect the tree but can be taken off if desired.

This workshop includes an established plant and all other materials. Tree is taken home at the end of the class.
Recommended for beginners and novice.
Age limit 10 years to adult.
Pre-registration is required, no walk-ins please.
