A great workshop for entry level bonsai enthusiast or one who has a little experience under their belt. Students here will learn the different styles of bonsai, basic wire techniques, potting, and care of their tree. Workshops are done in small groups of 8 to give plenty of personal attention
Dwarf Jade (Portulacaria Afra) trees are great indoor plants all winter long; A fast grower but easy to prune and shape. Trees are taken home at the end of the program.
This is a hands-on class where all students are provided with a plant to create their own tree, which is taken home at the end of the program. Students will be given the choice of a variegated or green tree type
Workshop includes a ceramic clay pot with drainage holes for planiting.
Other topics discussed include choosing tree material, containers, soil, wiring, post care.
This is a hands on workshop that includes all needed materials We stop for apx 20 minutes for a quick lunch break. Feel free to bring a lunch or travel to nearby stores.
