Just a great bonsai workshop but with a twist. Root over Rock is a very dramatic style in bonsai that showcases the roots. This workshop is for the entry level bonsai enthusiast or one who has a little experience under their belt. Students here will learn the different styles of bonsai, basic wire techniques, potting, and care .
Arboracola or umbrella trees are great indoor plants. Leaves are on the larger size making them suitable for low light, not to mention they do equally well in high light locations. They are very forgiving and can drink plenty of water during warm weather, so be prepared to give this tree a drink on a regular basis.
This is a hands-on class where all students are provided with all needed materials, a plant to create their own tree, which is taken home at the end of the program.
