A great workshop for entry level bonsai enthusiast or one who has a little experience under their belt. Students here will learn the different styles of bonsai, basic wire techniques, potting, and care of Brazilian Rain Tree.
Chinese Privet trees are great indoor plants all winter long; A fast grower but easy to prune and shape. They do use a lot of water, so be prepared to look after this tree on a regular basis.
This is a hands-on class where all students are provided with a plant to create their own tree, which is taken home at the end of the program.
These trees have a big heavy trunk.
Other topics include choosing tree material, containers, soil, wiring, post care.
